I slept until 8AM. I don’t know if was the exhaustion or the clouds. It was a cold and misty day, all day. Trevor left early for a van event up north. Calvin and I had sunroom coffee and talked about college for awhile, and then I finally got to work for the week. Deadlines felt pressurized, which always helps me focus. I got through a lot, including catching up on these diary entries. I have decided not to feel guilty about adding them a few days at a time if I must. It doesn’t change the exercise.
After work, we picked up a friend and ran errands around town. The girls have new bank accounts and have been practicing budgets, so we made a deposit. We picked up a birthday gift. We saw Chris and Dan’s freshly painted house—perfectly done for the moody setting today.
Friday is pizza night, and I set the dough to rise, although it’s a struggle on these colder days. Elemental has moved out of the theaters, but the girls had been dying to see it. We watched that and turned in early. Everyone was ready for the weekend.
