We always make coffee before school drop off, so I had some, even though I was meeting my friend Laura at Bread Lounge in the morning. I’m sorry, Bread Lounge, I brought my own coffee into your establishment, but I did buy an avocado toast. Trevor says, that doesn’t matter, I’m still very rude, and I figure this is as good a place as any to confess. Coffee (breakfast) with Laura was lovely.

After, I walked next door to acupuncture. I haven’t been in months, and I could tell my body needed the reset. I really believe in the practice—it’s made such a difference for me over the last several years.

The rest of my day was spent getting girls to and from their various activities, but it was sunny and breezy as is our autumnal standard and it felt lucky.
